A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.

Description: Fuuton • Kaiten Shuriken is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. To utilize this technique, Setsuna will first be under the influence of Yomi's evil medically enhanced chakra. This will grant him Wind chakra, which he will use to send his double bladed kama through the air as spinning disks. He can then launch these disks at his target like shuriken. Because he manipulates each individually, he can attack his target from multiple directions.

This wind can be used to help fan the flames of a Fire element attack.

Description: Fuuton- Dai Kamaitachi is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. Named after a mythical creature, the ninja will use his/her fan to blow concussive wind that is imbued with her chakra. This technique is a bigger version of the normal Kamaitachi no jutsu, having the ability to cause a great amount of chakra damage to the nearby area.

Description: Fuuton- Gama Tenppou is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind and Water element. This technique is a combo jutsu used by Naruto and Gamatatsu combining their elemental chakra. While Naruto builds Fuuton chakra, Gamatatsu himself will mold his chakra to create water in his mouth. Naruto will then touch Gamatatsu to imbue him with his Wind chakra. Gamatatsu will then exhale to emit a large and powerful water stream. Due to the jutsu's strength and Wind enhanced cutting ability, it is able to cut through defensive elements like Crystal.

Gufuu Sukia no Jutsu- Typhoon Water Vortex Technique

Description: Gufuu Suika no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique using both the Wind and Water Elements. This technique is a combo jutsu used by Yamato and Naruto combing two of their elemental attacks. Yamato will use Hahonryuu, a Water attack, and Naruto will use his Wind Rasengan. Combined together they form a swirling typhoon attack, capable of repelling a strong Fire and Wind attack.

Description: Fuuton Ninpou • Kami Oroshi is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. To utilize this technique, Setsuna will first be under the influence of Yomi's evil medically enhanced chakra. This will grant him Wind chakra, which he will use to generate a whirling vortex of wind which he can send snaking towards his target.

This technique can be used in conjunction with Hibashiri to create a powerful fire and Tsuchi Kairou to contain and focus the explosive blaze.

Description: Fuuton • Kazekiri no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. To utilize this technique, the ANBU member will form the needed hand seal. A large slicing wind will then be created which can cut through his opponent. This can be used to immobilize large summons. This will be the initial attack in an elemental trio used by the ANBU. It will be followed by Raiton • Shichuu Shibari to stun and trap the target and finally Doton • Otoshi Buta to imprison the summon in a gigantic sealed pot.

This grants him an alternate means of attack if he is imprisioned and his blades are left outside the enclosure. The power of the Wind element is enough to penetrate some forms of Raiton defense.

Description: Fuuton • Shinkuu Renpa is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. Danzou can use this jutsu in conjunction with his Baku. When the beast uses its inhalation power, the power of Shinkuu Renpa will increase. Danzou will first position his target between himself and the suction of his Baku. He will then emit cutting blades of Wind towards his target. Because this is also in the path of the suction, the destructive power will increase.

Rasen Shuriken- Spiral Shuriken

Description: Fuuton • Rasen Shuriken is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. Rasen Shuriken was developed by Uzumaki Naruto out of the original Fuuton • Rasengan. This spiraling Wind attack has only been seen in a half completed state. But even in this incomplete form, it has wrought massive destruction. With the aid of clones Naruto will form Rasengan and add the Wind Element. Though called "shuriken" the attack is not thrown. The trick name along with the aid of clones who act as a feint allow Naruto to get in close and strike his opponent. The attack itself can only be maintained in his hands for a few seconds time.

Rasen Shuriken is formed by enumerable miniscule small blades which slice into every cell of his target, severing the chakra circulatory channels connecting all the vital points on the body. Once it connects the highly dangerous attack will envelop the target in a massive sphere of destruction. The attack hits the opponent in such a way that it is even beyond the abilities of the Sharingan to copy. Due to its channel severing nature, the result on the body resembles a fast acting poison more than an outright attack. Unfortunately this same damage is done to Naruto's arm. For that reason Tsunade declared it forbidden.

Mastering Rasen Shuriken: After traveling to Mount Myouboku, Naruto underwent Senjutsu training with the toads. Senjutsu training allows ninja to absorb the natural energy around them, and then transform it into chakra for their own use. As a result of this training, Naruto was able to create a Rasen Shuriken which could maintain its form upon leaving his hand. This helps avoid the damage it normally causes to his arm when he strikes an opponent with it when held in his hand. This new variation also increased the destructive nature of the attack, completely tearing anyone caught up in the attack to shreds. This new variation can also increase in size upon coming into contact with his target.
